White Pages had become a B2B data supplier. But they were intrigued by the possibilities of using data for consumer-facing networking opportunities and building an internal product design team. Let’s face it, White Pages knows where you live—they knew this before Google did. 

I led ideation to build neighborhood networks of private citizens and business, places and events, utilizing rich mapping features for navigation and location specific engagements. The goal was to use invitation-based networking and tiered memberships for community building, neighborhood advocacy and self-reliance, and connections to hyper-local offline experiences.
