Buuteeq was a hospitality booking, inventory tracking, and marketing startup specializing in unique global stays. The challenge was to launch a beta application that translated the highly-function pen-and-paper offline craft of family-run resorts to an effective, flexible, and adoptable product especially considering the limited resources and accessibility of some remote locations.
Working from the bottom up in matching the Customer Experience to brand tenets, I created user scenarios using personas and industry research and maintained the authenticity of a branded visual interface matched in style and behavior to B2B and B2C websites, marketing, and applications. After launch, we maintained the site by adding features and improvements based on customer feedback, and created benchmarks and prototypes for V2 concepts. The Buuteeq SaaS product launched to high acclaim in Q1 2011.
